Trackside Structures
The original NER footbridge leading to the down platform as well as the waiting shelter still survive (as at April 2017). Both are in need of restoration or conservation. The overhead catenary for the Metro system is clearly seen, and very close to the bridge.
The south end of the waiting room, and an unusual canopy to the side. This would make an interesting feature on a model railway. The sign on the door reads 'General Room', but is not an original enamel sign and is in a very poor condition.
The north end of the waiting room. Again, the sign on the door reads 'General Room' and is in better condition than the other one. The pole supporting the overhead wires is visible.
